Haags Hiphop Centrum (H3C) is The Hague’s home for hip-hop and urban culture. With dance studios, a DJ room, a recording studio and communal spaces, H3C provides the facilities to support artistic growth and collaboration. Accessibility and inclusion are central to H3C’s mission. Affordable programmes ensure that people from all backgrounds can join and become part of a vibrant creative community. Through high-quality classes, coaching and creative opportunities, participants are encouraged to discover their potential, develop their skills and gain confidence. Regular performances, festival appearances and showcases give emerging talent the chance to share their work with wider audiences and take the next step in their artistic journey.

Hague Hoppers

Hague Hoppers is a vintage jazz dance school located in the heart of The Hague. The school offers partner and solo dances from the 1930s and 1940s, rooted in the African American community, including Lindy Hop, Tap, Collegiate Shag, Authentic Jazz, Balboa and Blues. In addition to weekly classes, Hague Hoppers regularly hosts social dance events featuring live jazz music. The school welcomes dancers of all backgrounds and experience levels into its international and inclusive community. All classes are taught in English.

The organisation also presents the annual Forró de Tamanco Festival, a three-day celebration that brings dancers, musicians and instructors from Brazil and across Europe together in The Hague, creating a unique space for cultural exchange, learning and connection.

Guided by the values Dance, Connect, Discover, Dancehague provides high-quality studio spaces and organises social dance events, workshops and community activities for dancers of all levels and backgrounds. By collaborating with teachers, dance schools, event organisers and cultural partners, the organisation supports the growth of both the local and international dance community. As a community partner of Amare, Dancehague hosts monthly Social Dance evenings featuring free workshops, social dancing and collaborations with local teachers, schools and DJs. Through these activities, Dancehague creates an accessible and welcoming environment where people can discover dance, build meaningful connections and contribute to a vibrant dance culture in The Hague.

For over 20 years, TangoMooovs has been a vibrant hub for Argentine tango in The Hague, bringing people together through movement, music, and genuine connection. Every Wednesday, we host tango classes at WDC in Bezuidenhout, followed by the venue’s lively weekly Tango Salon, where you can step straight onto the dance floor. Throughout the year, we organize salons, workshops, and performances with inspiring guest teachers from the Netherlands and abroad, at unique locations across the city. You can also find us monthly at Amare’s Kunstenplein, usually on the last Wednesday of the month. No dance experience is needed, just curiosity and a willingness to move. Our approach makes Argentine tango accessible, playful, and unforgettable, helping you discover step by step how exciting, surprising, and social this dance can be. Whether you are taking your very first tango steps or have years of experience, you are welcome to join our community and share the magic of tango.

Latin The Hague is a young movement with one mission: turning The Hague into Salsa City. Founded in 2023, it was born from an ambition to restore the city's place as a destination for Latin music's greatest names. Honouring the culture that gave birth to Salsa across Latin America and New York, the organisation puts live music at the centre, creating space for legendary artists alongside local and emerging talent.It gives musicians a stage and dancers a floor. It brings together Latinos and locals, veterans and newcomers, those who have lived this music all their lives and those just beginning to discover it. Spaces for anyone who loves la rumba que tumba.
